“Planet 50-50 by 2030 – Step It Up for Gender Equality” was the theme of the 2016 International Women’s Day. For Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland, this is a call to leave no one behind in the process of development. Though some progress is made to include Indigenous and grassroots women in United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), more efforts are needed.
