Eve Ensler is the writer of the piece “This spring, fight for our precious planet and join the climate march”, in which she explores the interrelations of different type of exploitation of natural resources and women’s bodies. One Billion Rising has been working with women’s issues in an intersectional way since the beginning. Through One Billion Rising for Justice and One Billion Rising Revolution activism, it has dealt with the issue of climate change, environmental injustice and its negative impacts on women, in particular those in developing and poor countries.
