The 2017 Women’s March against the Administration of President Donald Trump was one of the largest actions in U.S. history, and Indigenous women’s resistance played an important role. At the Seattle, Washington March, American Indian, Alaskan, Native Hawaiian and other global Indigenous and frontline women leaders led the over 3.6 mile march, and raised calls for human rights, Indigenous rights, and social and environmental justice.
