NAU Forester Looks For ‘Survival Gene’ In SW White Pine Trees

In eastern Arizona, a non-native fungus threatens the Southwestern White Pine Tree. The fungus, termed the “Blister Rust” fungus, is being combated through the work of NAU forestry professor Kristen Waring.
