When a plan to build the nation’s largest trash incineration just a mile away from her high school was proposed, Destiny Watford sprung into action. Watford co-founded the student organization Free Your Voice, which helped organize young people from the community of Curtis Bay in Baltimore, Maryland to halt the construction of the site.
