On September 26, 2016, the Grassroots Global Justice Alliance sent a “Berta Vive” Feminist Delegation to the Standing Rock camp in solidarity with the struggle to protect the water and land from the proposed Dakota Access Pipeline. Women and two-spirit (LGBTQ) delegates supported the camp via food prep and participating in the Indigenous Environmental Network’s Women Warrior press conference.
