International Women’s Day 2017 focuses on women and work, highlighting the need for economic parity. To achieve this, research and policy should focus on supporting women’s work that best assists them in meeting the challenges of climate change. Globally, research and policy is being informed by the use of collaborative and participatory research models to ensure solutions are meeting the unique needs of women in their communities.
