Eunice Ngoki of Ngurumo village, Ntakira, Kenya has made a name for herself cultivating Arrow Root and other traditional indigenous crops. As part of her work as a member of Meru Jitegemee group, and with the Institute of Culture and Ecology, she is sharing seeds and knowledge with her community members, and acting as an example for other small-scale farmers on how to meet family nutrition and economic needs in a sustainable way.
