For women doing academic research on climate change, the male-dominated field of science is often a challenge to navigate. The largest all-female expedition to Antarctica, comprising 76 scientists, is linking the ways in which they experience patriarchy in their work to the experiences of women on the frontlines of climate change, while building a formidable network of women scientists dedicated to dismantling patriarchy and climate change.
