Thousands of people from the United States, Latin America and Canada have joined the resistance at Dakota Access pipeline. Most of them are Indigenous peoples from different tribes across the Americas. Multiple kitchens, a school and medical services have been set up. The first baby was born in the camp with the help of a group of Indigenous midwives.
