Women from the Pacific Islands know all too well how climate change is affecting their homes, livelihoods and health, as they are on the frontlines of the crisis. 22 women, including Moira Simmons-Avafoa, from Tuvalu’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended a workshop organized by the Women’s Environment and Development Organization (WEDO) in Suva, Fiji on the intricacies of the climate negotiations and how best activists can leverage these spaces to push forward their agenda.
