Robin Kimmerer, a botanist, writer and member for the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, is the director of the Center for Native Peoples and the Environment at SUNY-ESF. In this Ted Talk, she examines ways in which traditional Indigenous approaches to the environment, such as the harvesting of berries as practiced by the Potawatomi, can teach us valuable lessons about healing our own relationship to the living earth.
