Along with other Chinese environmentalists, Wang Yong Chen is fighting to protect the Nu-Salween River from the development of a hydropower dam. She has spent her career fighting to protect the Nu-Salween, the only free-flowing river left in China located in one of the most biodiverse regions in the world.
