Anna Mae Leonard went on a five-day hunger strike to protest a plan by Nestlé to build a bottled-water plant in Cascade Locks, Oregon. The plant threatened take over 100 gallons of fresh mountain water every year from the nearby Oxbow Springs and sell it under the Arrowhead brand name.
