Acting as a digital gateway for issues of women’s empowerment and gender equality, UN WomenWatch educates about how gender justice is dependent on climate justice. They advocate for the necessity of gender focused solutions to the impacts of climate change, especially in the domains of agriculture, food security, biodiversity, human settlements, and migration patterns — all arenas where global warming hits women the hardest.
