Women are leading some of the most effective climate change projects and solutions across the world, however they receive disproportionately little attention and scant backing from funders and climate finance programs. Refusing to wait on anyone or anything in their often life-or-death struggles to protect the Earth and their communities, women such as Aleta Baun in West Timor are using small grants to protect their lands and implement solutions.
