Kayah George a young indigenous water protector has been fighting the destruction of her homeland. Kinder Morgan’s Trans Mountain Expansion Pipeline runs from Alberta to West Coast of Canada to Tsleil-Waututh Nation of United States of America. The pipeline poses a threat to coastal cities as well as wildlife due to the high chances of an oil spill. Unfortunately, the Canadian government continues to support this destructive project despite the ramifications to local communities.
